When In Doubt, Use Coconut Oil

Many of you already know of my love for magnesium! What most don't know however, is that I LOVE COCONUT OIL just as much! They are my two favorites. My family knows this all too well. If they tell me anything is wrong, the first thing they hear is...take your coconut oil!

I actually discovered the amazing healing properties of COCONUT OIL by accident. My mercury detox doc put me on a few tablespoons of coconut oil per day to start repairing the myelin sheath surrounding the nerve cells in my brain that were damaged by the toxins. So...I started to get a sore throat and fever one day, and literally had a rapid recovery by night and then by morning it was gone. Then I had an unusually quick recovery from a cold.

I started to research and found that coconut oil is a potent ANTI-VIRAL. It is full of MCT's (medium chain triglycerides) which are great for your body. So I tried it again when Summer came down with the official influenza virus last year. Much to her disdain, I started sneaking it in her any way I could. Smoothies, in hot water with raw honey and lemon. I got in probably 3 T a day. She was up and out the door in 5 days. Pretty remarkable. From what I've learned, therapeutic doses are necessary (2-5 T a day) to help kill the viruses. Will it work like that every time? I DON'T KNOW! At a minimum, I think it's safe to say that it will definitely HELP your body fight the virus off.

In addition to boosting your IMMUNE system, its equally amazing in other ways. I take 2-3 T a day of Spectrum brand organic REFINED (for zero flavor) coconut oil. I hold the bottle under hot water and melt it to be able to get it down easier than if it was solid. Give it a try!
